How To Cook A Turkey
for Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Learn how to roast a turkey. Roasting a turkey or deep oil frying a turkey is a traditional Thanksgiving food that people serve during Thanksgiving Day in the USA.

As shown in this video, we are doing a roasting or baking recipe of the turkey in the stove oven. The turkey is not brined, instead we are using mayonnaise to coat the turkey breast or meat and then we bake it in the oven.

We do this recipe and technique every year, and the roasted turkey always end up super moist and delicious, and we are always happy with the result - we are thankful for that :-)

For the first time, we are adding some bacon strips in this turkey recipe as an experiment, this is an optional part.

Hopefully, you learn some tips and techniques of cooking a turkey in this video.

Advance Happy Thanksgiving Day to YOU and Your FAMILY.

How to make a Banana Cream Pie recipe or a Banana Pudding recipe. This is an easy dessert recipes using banana cream flavored JELL-O Pudding mix (cook-and-serve type), medium ripe bananas, graham pie crust that you can buy in a store, or you can also use homemade pie crust if you desired, and fresh milk. This is a quick and easy desserts or snacks for the whole family to enjoy or you can also serve as dessert for parties and friends gatherings.

INGREDIENTS: - as shown in the VIDEO above

2 packages of 3-ounce JELL-O Banana Cream Flavor Cook and Serve Pudding
4 cups of milk
4 bananas, sliced around 1/4 of an inch thickness
1 9-ounce or 10-inch size Graham Pie Crust

Banana Cream Pie Recipe - Banana Pudding Recipe
As far as the Jello pudding, we used cook-and-serve type that you need to cook in a stove top. Depending on the size of your pie crust you either need just one or two 3-ounce pack of JELL-O banana cream pudding. We ended up cooking two (2) package of 3-ounce JELL-O and used more of the cooked pie fillings into the pie. We only had few spoons left that we ended up chilling in the refrigerator for eating on its own. If you are not sure how much pie filling you will need, which depends largely on the size of your pie crusts and also how many layers of fresh slice bananas you put in the pie. Personally, its good to prepare a little more than not enough, you can always eat the leftover fillings on its own after chilled.

To make the Deviled Eggs recipe, as shown in the VIDEO above, good for 2 to 4 people you will need 10 to 12 pieces of eggs, which will yield around 20 to 24 deviled eggs in this recipe (as shown in video above). The video shows you all the ingredients you will need, and the step by step process on how to make a deviled egg from start to finish.

One of my favorite all-time snack is Deviled Eggs. I like how a not-so-exciting boiled eggs have more flavorings and delightful taste in them. It is true, it is so much easier to boil eggs and grab the salt and pepper and start eating them, so why go with the hassle of adding extra work and preparation to make Deviled Eggs? Because once you tasted a deviled egg, it is hard to go back to just a simple hard boiled eggs. I have the same dilemma, every time I am eating a boiled egg, I always wish it is more flavorful, I wished I am eating a deviled egg instead... or perhaps it's just my taste preference in which I like the creamier taste of the deviled egg, and the more flavorful taste it has.. but then I notice that when I make deviled eggs, they got eaten by my family faster than a hard boiled egg does! That scenario does speak for itself that there is something about deviled egg that is more exciting to the palate.. its not just me :-)

If you want to prepare Deviled Eggs for a party or gathering, you can step it up further with cute and fun creatives using black olives, carrots, or other vegetables that you can cut and shape to look like faces with eyes, noses, and mouth in each of the deviled egg. When I made this video tutorial, I was cooking for our regular daily snack so I did not feel the need to decorate the deviled eggs with faces. But you can decorate them however you want. Instead of just using the spoon to fill each of the half white egg with the egg yolk mixture, you can use a cake icing dispenser to achieve a decorative pattern on the egg yolk mixture, you can shape it like flowers, etc.. There are endless possibilities on how you can decorate the deviled eggs for the purpose of fun presentation that will make your guests and visitors in awe during parties and gatherings. Hope you enjoy the video tutorial, please feel free to follow this blog, and also in my Google+ page, there are more exciting stuff to come.
