There's something magical about the aroma of a sizzling breakfast, especially when it involves the rich and savory combination of kielbasa and potatoes. Today, I'm excited to share my culinary adventure as I crafted a mouthwatering Kielbasa and Potatoes Breakfast from scratch, adding a twist with the optional yet highly recommended red bell pepper. Join me on this flavorful journey that's perfect for serving to your loved ones on any morning.

The Ingredients:

To start this breakfast extravaganza, gather the following ingredients:

  • 1 pack of kielbasa sausage, diced
  • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced and chopped (optional but highly recommended)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
  • Butter for cooking
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional, if desired)

For the step-by-step process, watch the Youtube video here: https://youtu.be/-HSXUnKvxh8

  1. Prepping the Ingredients: Begin by peeling, and dicing the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Slice the kielbasa into strips and then dice. Also, thinly slice and chop the red bell pepper if you've opted for this flavorful addition.

  2. Sautéing the Goodness: Heat a generous amount of butter in a large skillet over low-medium heat.

  3. Adding the Potatoes and the Kielbasa

  4. Incorporate the diced potatoes into the skillet, then gently add the sliced and diced kielbasa to the skillet, also add the red bell pepper (optional ingredient). Stir all ingredients in the skillet, then cooked covered in a low-medium heat for around 10 minutes or until they develop a golden-brown crust. Flipped the ingredients in the skillet, and then cook the other side, covered, until both potatoes and kielbasa reached desired tenderness, and allowing it to brown and infuse the potatoes with its smoky flavor. This step is crucial for creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.

  5. Incorporating the Red Bell Pepper (Optional but Highly Recommended): Elevate the dish by adding the thinly sliced and chopped red bell pepper. This not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes a sweet and slightly tangy flavor that perfectly complements the richness of the kielbasa and potatoes.

  6. Seasoning to Perfection (Optional): Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the seasoning according to your preferences. Allow the ingredients to mingle and marry their flavors, creating a symphony of taste that will tantalize your taste buds.

  7. Finishing Touch: Once the potatoes are tender, and the kielbasa has developed a beautiful caramelized crust, your Kielbasa and Potatoes Breakfast is ready to be served. if desired, garnish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and added freshness.

Conclusion:

As you present this hearty breakfast to your family, they'll be greeted not only by the inviting aroma but also by a plateful of comfort and warmth. The Kielbasa and Potatoes Breakfast, with the optional red bell pepper, is a culinary masterpiece that turns an ordinary morning into a delightful occasion. So, gather your loved ones, share the joy of a homemade breakfast, and savor the flavors that make every morning special.

How to make a Banana Cream Pie recipe or a Banana Pudding recipe. This is an easy dessert recipes using banana cream flavored JELL-O Pudding mix (cook-and-serve type), medium ripe bananas, graham pie crust that you can buy in a store, or you can also use homemade pie crust if you desired, and fresh milk. This is a quick and easy desserts or snacks for the whole family to enjoy or you can also serve as dessert for parties and friends gatherings.

INGREDIENTS: - as shown in the VIDEO above

2 packages of 3-ounce JELL-O Banana Cream Flavor Cook and Serve Pudding
4 cups of milk
4 bananas, sliced around 1/4 of an inch thickness
1 9-ounce or 10-inch size Graham Pie Crust

Banana Cream Pie Recipe - Banana Pudding Recipe - Easy Dessert Recipes
Banana Cream Pie Recipe - Banana Pudding Recipe
As far as the Jello pudding, we used cook-and-serve type that you need to cook in a stove top. Depending on the size of your pie crust you either need just one or two 3-ounce pack of JELL-O banana cream pudding. We ended up cooking two (2) package of 3-ounce JELL-O and used more of the cooked pie fillings into the pie. We only had few spoons left that we ended up chilling in the refrigerator for eating on its own. If you are not sure how much pie filling you will need, which depends largely on the size of your pie crusts and also how many layers of fresh slice bananas you put in the pie. Personally, its good to prepare a little more than not enough, you can always eat the leftover fillings on its own after chilled.

This is my personal version of a homemade Bananas Foster recipe, or simply Fried Bananas. As you can see in the step-by-step video above I am using a fully riped banana, the banana looks spotty outside but its still perfectly ripe inside. After cutting each of the banana in half and slicing them in halves, I fried it using an olive oil, in this video. You can either use an olive oil or an unsalted butter (just melt it in the hot frying fan). You don't have to have too much of the oil or butter in the fan, just make sure that you coat the surface of the fan, and it is best to use a fully flat frying fan so that the banana will have the chance to fry evenly.

I tried other version of this recipe using butter and brown sugar, but after tasting the finished product I realized that it was too sweet so I revised the recipe, experiment and frying the banana using just an oil or melted butter and see how it would come out. As a result, I realize that brown sugar is not really needed at all since by frying the bananas their natural sugar contents naturally release and caramelize on the surface of the banana, it taste sweet as if you put sugar in them.

I would recommend eating the fried bananas while its hot, and you can serve it with vanilla ice cream toppings, but its not necessary to have the ice cream, you can eat it with just the banana alone, and it taste great and delicious regardless. But having the ice cream definitely give an extra flavor and new twist to the taste buds.

Thank you for dropping by in my blog today. If you try this recipe feel free to leave a comment here and let me know how it came out, or if you like it or not. We have more food and cooking videos at www.youtube.com/HomeyCircle

You walk into your local supermarket or grocery store, and there is this bunch of tropical pineapple fruits beautifully displayed in the front lobby of the store enticing shoppers to not only look at it but buy it so that they can taste the mouthwatering goodness of the fruit with its palatable sweet juicy taste in it and enjoy the healthy nutrients that the fruits offer including a healthy dose of vitamin C and potassium. But pineapple originated from the tropics so in western countries like the United States, and European countries an actual pineapple fruit is not a common plant that many residents plant in their backyard to harvest some fruits. Many conveniently eat pineapple fruits their whole life by buying a canned pineapple that are readily available in most supermarkets, and most of them are properly preserved and pack which retain most of the goodness of the pineapple fruit. But there is nothing compare to a fresh pineapple that you just peeled and slice to eat. But for some, looking at an actual whole pineapple fruit can be a totally foreign thing, with its spikey and thorny crown, and hard think exterior skin, but these things should NOT stop you from buying the pineapple that you came across in the store, I hope. Opening a pineapple fruit, peeling its skin, removing its hard inner core, removing the pineapple eyes and seeds all around, and slicing them in bite-size chunks are not as hard as some people may think or imagine.

Here is a step by step video guide from start to finish on how to peel, open, cut pineapple fruit:

Here are three (3) parts videos to walk you through each of the process it takes to open a pineapple all the way to preparing it ready-to-eat.

PART 1: How To Open Fresh Pineapple Fruit or Peel Hard Skin with Kitchen Knife
Learn how to open a delicious fresh pineapple fruit or peel a hard skin of a pineapple using a readily available kitchen knife. Inorder to eat a fresh pineapple, you got to learn how to open it first :-)

PART 2: Part 2 How To Remove Pineapple Fruit Eyes with Kitchen Knife
Learn how to remove pineapple fruit eyes using a kitchen knife only. Its very easy and simple procedure. Watch and you will learn the a-b-c of how to do it. Inorder to enjoy a fresh slice of pineapple, the eyes need to come off first, be sure to watch out for some seeds in the same area, in case you are interested to germinate them too.

PART 3: How To Remove Hard Core of Peeled Pineapple Fruit and Slice Into Chunk
Learn how to remove the hard uneatable core part of a peeled whole pineapple fruit, and learn how to slice a whole pineapple into bite-size chunk pieces, this way you can easily eat them with a fork and not to worry about the hard uneatable part of the fruit.

After watching all the three (3) videos above, I hope that you learn something somehow especially if you never done it before. So hopefully next time you are at your local grocery store shopping and you see a bunch of pineapple fruits, the looks of it will not be so intimidating since you know exactly what to do with it, from peeling the skin, to slicing it ready to serve.
